Justin
Smith of Fallon filed for the State Assembly in District 38 as a member of the
Independent American Party.
Mr. Smith is 31 years old and works in the Information Technology field. He has a lovely wife and two
awesome sons. He has
resided in NV since 2008. In 2013 he and
his family purchased a home in Fallon, NV and enjoy the wonderful community there.
When
asked why he wanted to run as a candidate for AD38 he stated the following: “I am well aware that it is unconventional
for someone my age, social position, and financial status to run for
office. However, I know that providing
Nevadans a new option during election time will enable them to restore their
confidence in decisions being made at the legislature because a variety of
opinions will be represented and allow freedom to thrive.”
“A
third voice is critical in the legislative decision process. The founding fathers of America came from
many walks of life, and represented many different states with different needs
during the original Constitutional Convention.
This enabled them to make balanced and educated decisions when many
opinions seemed to be colliding,” continued Smith.
